DOVER, N.H., September 25, 2019— Garrison Women’s Health (GWH), one of the Seacoast’s top providers in women’s health, is thrilled to announce the addition of two seasoned certified nurse-midwives, Anne Alberto and Kristian Orestis.
“We are pleased to welcome Anne and Kris to our GWH family,” says Tracey Simmers, practice administrator at GWH. “They are both compassionate care providers who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our collaborative practice.”
Alberto expertly provides full-scope midwifery care. She was trained at the University of Pennsylvania in its combined midwifery-women’s health nurse practitioner program. Alberto will help families achieve their desired birth experience. “I think it’s a special privilege to help patients through a major life event such as the birth of their child,” said Alberto. “I love that my patient and I are on the journey together practicing shared decision making.”
Orestis received her M.S. in nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. She will focus on providing obstetrics and gynecology care to patients at the GWH office. She is passionate about helping women discover the miraculous capabilities of their bodies, especially during pregnancy. As a labor and delivery nurse in 2004, Orestis frequently worked alongside the Garrison team. She mentioned, “When I worked closely with Garrison, I recognized that the practice was unlike any other I had encountered. I value Garrison’s individualized care approach.”
Both providers have been fully onboarded and credentialed and are actively seeing patients. To schedule an appointment please call (603) 742-0101.
