Kris loves working at Garrison Women’s Health because “I appreciate the practice’s individualized care approach. There’s no endpoint to a patient’s care. If something isn’t working, we try something else. It makes practicing medicine and women’s health in this setting really creative.”
- Kris grew up in Rye, New Hampshire, and now resides in Stratham, New Hampshire.
- She loves working with women and thinks it is empowering when they experience milestones in their pregnancies and realize what they are capable of.
- Prior to becoming a midwife, Kris was a labor and delivery nurse, working closely with providers from Garrison. She immediately recognized that the practice was unlike any other.
- Fun fact: Kris’s alma mater, Frontier Nursing University (formerly Frontier School of Midwifery), created the first nurse-midwifery and NP program in the country around the 1930s.
