Screening for Breast Cancer
Mammography is recommended for all women by age 40 and should be continued annually thereafter as an important screening for breast cancer.
Sue Letourneau, our Certified NH Mammographer, likes to say that “Mammography’s purpose is to save lives.” Early detection, as a result of regular screening, can increase the chance for a cure.

Our Mammography services are available to everyone. You do not need to be a Garrison Women’s Health Center patient to receive a mammogram in our office. You may self-refer or, if required by your insurance, ask your primary care provider for a referral. We accept most insurance plans.
