Education at Garrison Women's Health

Education is an essential part of prenatal care. 

At Garrison Women’s Health Center, we provide education from your very first visit to our office in Dover, New Hampshire.

When you come in, our intake nurse will explain the scope of the care, review the laboratory testing recommended, and lay out the anticipated schedule of visits.

She'll also talk to you about your providers coverage of labor and delivery, the educational opportunities available to you, and what you might expect during your birth experience. Feel free to ask any specific questions you may have.

Wentworth Douglass Hospital Classes

Wentworth Douglass Hospital offers almost twenty classes of interest to prenatal and post-partum patients, several at no cost.

These classes range from traditional prenatal education classes, prenatal exercise classes, and breastfeeding how to's to classes in water birth and prenatal yoga. There are also groups for grandparents and siblings.
