Updated logo aims to promote practice’s message of supporting women
DOVER, N.H., February 16, 2016 — Garrison Women’s Health (GWH), one of the Seacoast’s top providers in women’s health, today unveiled its new logo. The updated look is aimed at supporting Seacoast residents and building greater awareness to the GWH brand as a whole.
The new, clean monogram transitions from a lowercase “g” to an uppercase “G” — representing GWH as a protector as well as a supporter of women in all stages of life. This transitioning, iconic image also ties into the fact GWH is a comforting, safe place for any woman to receive care.
“The reinvented logo symbolizes the spirit and compassion our practice has embodied since 1962,” says Tracey Simmers, Practice Administrator. “We’ve been a longtime partner in health to women across the Seacoast, and wanted to create a look that captures our fun and approachable nature. We are ecstatic to release the final result.”
The new GWH visual identity expresses a cohesive voice across the practice’s combined areas of expertise. In-depth meetings and staff led to a discussion to move branding into a new sphere.
“The employees of Garrison know first-hand what kind of impact a welcoming health organization can have not only on an individual, but those around them,” said Kelsey Ó Ciardha, Calypso’s associate art director. “That was our main focus when developing this new logo–a cutting-edge, yet compassionate look.”
