Megan McIntyre, APRN, WHNP-BC
Megan McIntyre grew up in Nottingham, NH, and graduated from Dover High School.
Megan has a BA in Psychology from Skidmore College and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from John Hopkins University. After working for thirteen years at the Women and Children's Center at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, Megan pursued her Master's in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification in Women's Health.
In addition to her thirteen years as a labor and delivery nurse, Megan has taught Childbirth Education and previously worked for Garrison Women's Health Center in Fertility nursing.
Megan's approach to healthcare is holistic, supportive, and empowering. She has a special interest in the evidence based use of alternative remedies to complement women's health care. At Garrison Women's Health, her women's health training enables her to see both obstetric and gynecological patients.
Megan lives in Dover with her husband, John, and their children Jackson, Lillian, and Isabel. they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially at their cabin on the coast of Maine.
